Many thanks to PHILANTOPIC and PND for sharing with us this meaningful quote from Nelson Mandela. His life is filled with teaching moments and precepts for all of humanity, including future generations to come.

Just as many of us recall where we were when we heard the news of the deaths of JFK and Martin Luther King, we will also mark for the rest of our lifetimes Nelson Mandela's death yesterday. And hopefully, we will honor his legacy by continuing to devote our lives to fighting for social justice.

Quote of the Week

  • "[L]et me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is...fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance...."
